"Kids on Stage" Summer Program

Creative Dramatics:
Judy Laughlin has a BA in Theatre from Rockford College in Rockford, IL, and for the past 11 years she has been doing theatre throughout the Chicago area. As an actor, she has worked with Metropolis Performing Arts Centre in Arlington Heights, Village Players in Oak Park, Alchemy Theatre in Wood Dale, Oakton Community College in River Forest, Elgin Community College in Elgin, and in Chicago with The Artistic Home, The Cornservatory, For This Productions, Lincoln Square Theatre, Fury Theatre, and Akvavit Theatre. Backstage, she has been a stage manager, a lighting designer, a costumer, a director, and a stagehand. She has directed full-scale children's productions of "Robin Hood", "Treasure Island", and "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe", and she has been Miss Lynn's trusted assistant for the past several years of Kids On Stage at Village Theatre Guild in Glen Ellyn. Children's theatre is always fun, always exciting, and always an adventure!
